The position is focused on the successful execution of EPG projects, working with cross-functional multi-project team resources to ensure expectations are delivered according to defined scope, timeline, and cost parameters. This role will be focused 40% on project execution in Lead Technician Role, 50% Mentor and Development of Commissioning Technicians, 10% on departmental process improvements that drive cost out opportunities and other duties as assigned. The Team Lead supports the Project Delivery Team in planning, scheduling, and controlling all project activities toward these objectives by applying technical, theoretical, and managerial skills, while building positive professional relationships with customers and peers. Essential Responsibilities and Expectations Lead Jobs as required Coach and direct Commissiong Team employees Monitor, improve, and maintain Technician performance. Ensure proper planning of jobs, parts availability, and manpower. Identify cost out opportunities and champion process changes to improve organization performance Effectively handle customer objections and concerns Maintain (and ensure technicians maintain) proper dialog with customer and inform customer of repair status as required. Monitor customer satisfaction and employee morale and take steps to improve both when necessary. Minimize customer downtime with accurate and efficient job planning and repairs. Effectively communicate with company personnel Qualifications Education High school diploma or the equivalent Experience Experience working as a Service Technician preferred Experience using personal computers including Microsoft Word and Excel and basic typing skills are required for this position. Must possess or demonstrate the ability to quickly acquire the following required Skills and Competencies.
