Job Description
Overview Rental Power Generator Technician The Rental Power Generator Technician is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of rental power generators and related equipment. This role requires a high level of technical expertise in diesel engines, electrical systems, and emissions systems, with a strong preference for candidates experienced with CAT equipment and large-scale power generation units. Wages Starting wage will depend on experience and education. $21.96-$26.63 Responsibilities Complete oil and filter changes, equipment inspections, and basic repairs. Assist with load-bank testing and troubleshooting. Inspect electrical, mechanical, fuel, and cooling systems. Use Caterpillar diagnostic tools, service manuals, and technical resources. Complete accurate work orders, service reports, parts requests, and timecards. Communicate equipment concerns and service recommendations to customers and team members. Maintain a clean and safe work area, equipment, and company vehicle. Follow all Quinn Company safety policies and procedures. Travel to customer locations and assist other technicians as needed. Work overtime, weekends, or outside regular business hours when required.
