$62,000 - $90,000 annually Join a team supporting critical high-voltage power infrastructure as a Control Center Technician. We are seeking an experienced Control Center Technician, for a substation in Tracy, CA, to perform maintenance, testing, inspections, and emergency response activities at a utility-scale substation facility.

Responsibilities of Control Center Technician:

Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of substation equipment. Troubleshoot and repair transformers, circuit breakers, switches, and related systems. Coordinate switching activities and support grid reliability initiatives. Maintain compliance documentation and safety records. Respond to equipment alarms, outages, and emergency situations. Support contractors and specialized service providers during maintenance activities.

Qualifications of Control Center Technician:

3-5 years of experience in high-voltage substations, utility operations, or renewable energy facilities. Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance and diagnostic testing practices. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

OSHA, NFPA
