is hiring a skilled, dependable 12-Volt Electrical Technician to help build, diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems in our amphibious off-road vehicles and custom off-road trucks. Our vehicles use GM LS3 engine and 6L80 automatic-transmission packages. Familiarity with GM EFI systems, engine and transmission wiring, sensors, controllers, and diagnostic procedures is a strong advantage. This is a hands-on position for someone who understands vehicle electrical systems and takes pride in clean, reliable work. You should be able to diagnose problems from start to finish, read wiring diagrams, build circuits, and install components that will hold up to heat, vibration, moisture, mud, and demanding off-road use. Responsibilities Build, install, repair, and maintain 12-volt electrical systems in off-road vehicles and trucks Diagnose electrical issues involving power, grounds, wiring, fuses, relays, switches, connectors, lighting, sensors, controllers, starting, and charging systems Install lighting, auxiliary accessories, control panels, switches, relays, fuse panels, gauges, and communication equipment Read, interpret, and follow electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer service information Build clean, durable wiring harnesses using correct wire sizing, circuit protection, secure routing, loom, heat-shrink, sealed connectors, and strain relief Use multimeters, test lights, scan tools, and other diagnostic equipment to identify and repair electrical faults Troubleshoot intermittent failures caused by damaged wiring, poor grounds, loose terminals, corrosion, vibration, and moisture intrusion Document repairs, labor time, diagnostic findings, and parts used in work orders Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians while being capable of working independently Qualifications (must-have) Experience diagnosing and repairing 12-volt electrical systems in automotive, truck, off-road, marine, RV, heavy equipment, or powersports applications Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics Experience building, repairing, and routing vehicle wiring harnesses Comfortable using a multimeter and following a logical diagnostic process Valid driver's license Ability to work in a hands-on shop environment Preferred (nice to have, not required) Familiarity with GM LS3 engines and 6L80 transmission packages, GM
