Job Description
Entry Level Transformer Technician We are seeking an Entry Level Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various substation equipment in the field. You will work closely with clients to ensure their needs are met while adhering to safety standards and protocols. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and troubleshoot substation equipment Utilize tools such as voltmeters for testing electrical components Climb ladders or structures as needed to access equipment for installation or repair Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on-site Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Technical school degree or certifications a plus Valid driver's license required (CDL a plus) Mechanical aptitude. Experience in construction, electrical and industrial work preferred Ability to work in various weather conditions and travel for extended periods of time Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members Ability to lift 50lbs and perform physically demanding tasks We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and make employment decisions based on merit, qualifications, and business needs.
