What You'll Be Doing:
Perform preventative maintenance on standby generator systems. Troubleshoot and repair gas and diesel engines. Repair and adjust transfer switches and perform major repairs on units. Install and test new generator units. Respond quickly to jobsites in case of emergency. Complete and submit work orders and reports in a timely manner. Prepare accurate quotes for repairs. Follow safety requirements, including proper use of PPE.
What We're Looking For:
High School Diploma or GED required. Technical School Certificate or Military training, a plus. 1-5 years or more of generator experience required. Experience with Kohler Power Systems a plus. Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively. Good communication skills both written and verbal. Exceptional customer service skills.
