We are growing our service department and are looking for an experienced outdoor power equipment technician to join out team We are looking for someone who can diagnose problems, not just replace parts. If you have strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills and take pride in doing the job right the first time, we want to talk with you. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair outdoor power equipment including lawn mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and generators using schematics and technical manuals Perform engine repairs on small engines, diesel engines, and power generation systems with precision and efficiency Conduct electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical systems within equipment to identify issues accurately Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and other mechanical tools to complete repairs Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, blade sharpening, belt replacements, and system inspections Assist customers by explaining repairs, recommending maintenance practices, and providing exceptional service Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and parts inventories to ensure smooth workflow Requirements Proven dealership experience or extensive service technician background in outdoor power equipment or similar fields Strong mechanical knowledge of small engines, electrical systems, diesel engines, and mechanical systems repair Experience reading schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting complex issues Skilled in electrical diagnostics, wiring repairs, soldering, welding, and electrical work Familiarity with equipment maintenance procedures as they relate to outdoor power equipment or similar machinery Ability to lift heavy equipment safely and perform manual handling tasks regularly Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, power generation systems, and heavy-duty equipment repair techniques Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward client interactions We have a strong customer base and represent some of the leading brands in the outdoor power equipment industry.
