We are seeking a skilled Shop Technician to join Malloy. This team member will inspect, repair, and troubleshoot electric AC/DC motors, generators, and equipment. Knowledge and experience in the automotive, diesel, and agriculture industries are applicable. Job:

• Inspect and test electric motors, generators, and other equipment to diagnose issues.
• Disassemble electric motors and replace or repair defective parts such as bearings, brushes, and coils.
• Reassemble, measure, and test motor performance to meet specifications and quality.
• Maintain repair records and documents of work performed.
• Perform other responsibilities as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Previous technical experience is preferred, and mechanical aptitude is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Own basic hand tools, operating forklifts and overhead cranes is required.
• Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen and subject to quarterly screening.
