Job Description
Walker Engineering is hiring a Service Technician for our Tenant Finish Out Division at DFW. A Service Technician 3 is the senior level of Service Technicians. Works under the guidance of a Account Manager or Service Manager, and may oversee and direct the work of a crew of 1 to 10 apprentices in installations, alterations, additions, and/or repair of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment on any type project.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A Service Technician 3 may be required to perform any of the duties and responsibilities associated with classifications E4, A4, J1, ST1, J2 and ST2. In addition, a senior levelService Technician:
- Performs field take offs of electrical projects when needed.
- Capable of pricing work when required by customer.
- Capable of dealing directly with the customer. Relates to scheduling, field take offs and pricing.
- Schedules work and perform man loading schedules as necessary.
- Performs and oversees all types of installation, alterations, additions and/or repairs of electrical systems.
- Is responsible for crew or project safety performance.
