System Technicians Supervisor Brazos Electric Power Cooperative- System Technician Supervisor Krum, TX Lead the Team That Keeps the Power Flowing At Brazos Electric Power Cooperative , our mission is to deliver safe, reliable, and affordable electricity to the communities we serve. As a System Technician Supervisor , you'll lead a skilled team responsible for maintaining the critical substation equipment that powers our transmission system. What You'll Do As the System Technician Supervisor, you'll oversee the installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of substation electrical equipment while leading a team of talented substation and P&C technicians. You'll ensure equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, and safe work practices while helping develop the next generation of technical professionals. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a team of substation & P&C technicians to safely perform installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of substation equipment. Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of microprocessor-based relays, meters, circuit breakers, reclosers, transformers, regulators, and other substation equipment. Plan, prioritize, and coordinate construction, maintenance, and emergency work activities to meet operational needs. Ensure compliance with NERC, ERCOT, and company standards, including scheduling required relay testing and maintaining regulatory records. Oversee equipment maintenance databases, asset management documentation, and department administrative functions. Assist with department budgeting, equipment procurement, and evaluation of new technologies and testing equipment. Build strong working relationships with internal departments, member cooperatives, contractors, and industry partners.
