Job Overview:

Performs a variety of duties and responsibilities such as install, repair, maintain, and test electrical equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Operates electronic testing equipment. Reads profiles and blue prints. Connects wires to fixtures, equipment, generators, motors and power cables to equipment. Checks pumps and power tools. Use various electrical hand tools. Works around various electrical voltages. Performs routine cleaning of pumps and power tools. Performs other related duties as assigned to enhance the overall operations and services of the department. Requirements Job requires a diploma from an accredited high school or GED equivalent. Two-year relate4d work experience is preferred. An Apprentice Electrician license is required. Knowledge of safety rules and procedures when working with energized electrical equipment. Must be available to work standby schedules/afterhours. Must possess and maintain a valid Texas Driver's Class C License. Must have basic computer and data entry skills. Must be able to lift 60 pounds and pass a fit for duty physical examination.
