Job Description

Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Technician 1 Event Services based in any US City nearby an Aggreko Service Center. You'll be part of an elite technician team that will work on a wide range of projects from large events, to assisting Utilities customers or being part of a turnaround team in a refinery. Power without pause. Heating, cooling and oil-free air without end. We keep our customers' worlds on. From world-class events that last a few weeks to mining operations and remote communities who rely on us for decades What you'll do: Install, commission, service and repair Aggreko generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment. Install and commission for Events Services and other complex projects Troubleshoot equipment failures both on Events Services and in the service centers Utilize mathematical formulas to calculate both nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements. Ensure the completion of minor repairs and major overhauls on time, to standard and within agreed budgets for both specific repairs and overall department budgets. Read and comprehend electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals. Maintain thorough knowledge of, practice, and promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA, EPA and other required regulations dealing with safe operation of all equipment. Interface with a remote operations center to prevent failures, help design proactive notification to avoid failures and compliance.
You are:
Must be located near an Aggreko facility, with up to 75% travel Able to travel extensively, up to 75%, and be away for extended periods of time 5+ years of relevant work experience High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience Previous experience with event and entertainment Experience servicing, testing and installing commercial HVAC or industrial diesel generators Here's what you'll get: Competitive pay with potential for overtime and/or weekends $2.50/hr. travel allowance Annual bonus program, o cost medical plan option available Robust technical training programs, in person and virtual, on diesel, gas, electrical, controls, HVAC, microgrid & storage and more Career growth opportunities and tuition reimbursement available Safety-focused culture working on brand new technology Other essential job requirements Availability to work the assigned schedule, travel to work locations (if needed) and be on standby for work outside of regularly scheduled shifts Must be able to stand, walk and sit for prolonged periods of time; and be able to walk over uneven terrain with functional balance that does not require any special assistive devices Must be able to move the extremities and spine through a functional range of motion that will permit work to be safely performed from ground / floor level to full overhead level Must have good finger dexterity to manipulate small items, functional hand-eye coordination, and functionally grip with adequate strength to safely hold tools and stair railing or ladders Must be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment, which includes being able to lift (60 lbs.) push/pull (80 lbs.), carry (60 lbs.), climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs.), stoop, kneel and squat Our people are can-do, positive, resilient, and persistent.
