JOB DESCRIPTION

Brim Tractor has immediate opportunities for a full-time, highly motivated, self-directed Equipment Shop Service Technician. Candidates should have experience with light equipment. (skid steers, mini excavators, tractors, etc.) The hourly pay range for this position is: $30.00 to $42.00. This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime pay.

Must be able to:

Follow all company policies, processes, procedures. Exercise safe work practices to contribute to the achievement of the company's safety goals. Troubleshoot and repair all systems (electrical, hydraulic, A/C, power train, etc.) on Bobcat, New Holland, and Yanmar product lines. Operate equipment as needed to assist in locating and diagnosing the failure Utilize hand and power tools and electronic diagnostic equipment Read and interpret complex hydraulic and electrical schematics Perform diagnostic testing and tuning of equipment Follow all safety rules and policies while performing all work assignments as specified in company handbooks. Assess parts to determine the cause of failure and/or their reusability. Communicate with parts department personnel to order the necessary parts required to complete repair(s). Customer satisfaction is our priority at Brim Tractor Complete and submit assigned work order reports, time entry and all other paperwork daily. Attend and participate in appropriate training(s). Service Manager Job Requirements:

Must demonstrate troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills. Must be able to work well independently or with others in a team environment. Complete New Holland Level I technician training in 6 months and Level II in one year, and achieve 80% competence or higher. Complete required Bobcat Training 80% or higher Must be reliable, honest, and have a strong work ethic. Must have strong organizational and time management skills Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with customers and co-workers. Must be able to lift 75 lbs. Must own required tools. maintain current forklift operator training certification. Computer skills. Have valid driver's license, CDL preferred.

Experience:

Preferably two to three years of verifiable experience repairing equipment Prior dealership experience is beneficial Bobcat equipment is beneficial

Pay:

$35.00 - $42.00 per hour
