Ensuring equipment and systems are safe and reliable according to NETA standards. Conducting start-up procedures for new electrical equipment. Required skills and qualifications NETA level 2 or 3 certification A strong understanding of electrical theory, testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, insulation resistance testers), and electrical safety procedures Familiarity with NETA, NEC, OSHA, and NFPA standards is often required. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and good communication skills are essential.
