12+ Months Job Summary Seeking a Field Service / Start-Up Engineer with strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to support the installation, maintenance, repair, and start-up of semiconductor processing equipment at customer sites. Key Responsibilities Perform on-site service, installation, start-up, maintenance, and repair of semiconductor processing equipment. Troubleshoot equipment issues and minimize downtime. Install and replace equipment parts and perform upgrades/modifications. Respond to emergency service calls as needed. Coordinate with customers, peers, and supervisors to ensure efficient equipment operation. Train customer technicians on equipment operation and maintenance. Maintain accurate service records, reports, tools, vehicles, and company property. Stay current on equipment, tools, procedures, and technical documentation through ongoing training. Maintain professional standards while working at customer sites. Required Qualifications Associate degree in Electronics, Engineering, Technology, or related field ; Bachelor's degree preferred. 2+ years of experience maintaining, repairing, installing, or troubleshooting semiconductor capital equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with appropriate hand/power tools. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong customer-facing and communication skills. Ability to understand technical issues related to equipment maintenance, repair, and installation. Willingness and ability to travel 100% domestically. Preferred Candidate Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment , strong field-service skills, and the ability to work independently at customer sites.
