We're looking for a hands-on CNC Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair CNC machine tools for customers throughout the region. This is a great opportunity for an experienced CNC Service Technician, CNC Maintenance Technician, Machine Tool Technician or CNC Machinist with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills who wants to build a career on the OEM side of the industry. What You'll Do Troubleshoot and repair CNC machines at customer locations Diagnose mechanical, electrical and automation issues Install and commission CNC equipment Replace ball screws, motors, cartridge spindles and other components Use ladder logic and control diagnostics to identify problems Repair spindle bearings and align tooling Interface and align bar-feed units Perform first-part runoffs and verify machine functionality Provide technical troubleshooting support to customers by phone Travel throughout the local region to support customers What We're Looking For 3-6 years of CNC machine-tool experience Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability Experience reading ladder diagrams and working with CNC control diagnostics Understanding of machining principles and geometry Swiss CNC experience is a plus Strong customer communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently in the field Valid driver's license and passport Ability to travel up to 75% , primarily within the local tri-state area Why consider it?
