Reliability Device Testing Job Summary:
QualiTau is a leading manufacturer of reliability test systems for the semiconductor industry. We design and manufacture instrumentation and measurement systems used for R D and wafer process monitoring. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical services to our customers based in the United States . You will travel to various customer sites to install, troubleshoot, and repair our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Customer visits consist of system installations, training customers on how to run experiments and analyze data, communication of hardware/software field requests to our in-house engineering department and performing system calibration/verification tests. This position identifies problems and repairs product failures in the field.
Duties:
  • Install, configure, and test our systems at customer sites
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions, including controllers and precision measuring instruments
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate with customers to identify their needs and provide appropriate solutions
  • Create detailed reports documenting service activities, including parts used and work performed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
  • Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage applications
  • Familiarity with mechanical systems and components
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically
  • Outstanding customer service skills with a professional demeanor
  • Willingness to travel extensively to client sites (up to 50% travel)
  • Valid driver's license
Pay:
$75,000.00
  • $78,000.
