Job Description

Experience:
Mid Level Salary:
$95,000 - $120,000 per year Job Details - What You'll Do Develop, modify, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC programs for industrial equipment and automation systems. Work primarily with Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens PLC platforms. Provide technical support for automated equipment and complex hydraulic systems. Travel approximately 40% to customer sites for equipment commissioning, troubleshooting, startups, upgrades, and technical support. Serve as a technical point of contact for customers and provide clear communication throughout project execution. Diagnose electrical, controls, automation, and hydraulic issues in industrial environments. Support equipment installations and ensure automation systems are functioning properly during startup and commissioning. Modify and improve existing PLC programs to enhance equipment performance, reliability, and functionality. Collaborate with internal engineering teams and customer maintenance or operations personnel to resolve technical challenges. Provide hands-on troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment and control system issues. Assist customers with technical questions and recommend solutions to improve equipment performance and reliability. Document programming changes, technical issues, and solutions for future reference. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to automation, controls, and equipment performance. Build strong relationships with customers while representing the company in a professional and technically knowledgeable manner. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related technical field preferred. Equivalent hands-on experience in industrial automation will also be considered. Strong experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting. Experience working with Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens PLC systems. Hands-on knowledge of industrial hydraulic equipment and hydraulic systems. Ability to troubleshoot complex automation, controls, and equipment issues. Comfortable working directly with customers in a technical, customer-facing environment. Ability and willingness to travel approximately 40% to customer locations. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and customer priorities. Experience supporting industrial manufacturing equipment is highly preferred.
