Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here An established Machinery Manufacturing firm is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their Team! The Field Service Engineer is tasked with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CNC machines for an OEM environment. This role requires up to 75% travel within the local tri-state area, with opportunities for additional domestic travel.
Job Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machines Replace components such as ball screws, motors, and cartridge spindles Utilize ladder logic and diagnostic functions across various control systems Provide phone-based technical support for troubleshooting, on a daily basis Align and adjust tooling Repair spindle bearings Align and interface bar feed units Perform first-part runoffs to ensure machine acceptance and functionality Travel to customer sites for equipment repair, installation, and troubleshooting
Job Requirements:
Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% of the time 2-3+ years of experience in CNC machines / tooling (preferred) 1-2+ years of Swiss machining experience (preferred but NOT required) Strong electrical, mechanical, and automation experience required Proficiency in geometry and machining principles Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, including reading ladder diagrams and control diagnostics Ability to interact professionally with customers both in person and over the phone Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative Valid, clean driver's license and valid passport required
Salary:
$35-40/hr+ & Bonus Overtime Pay for over 40 hours! Apply if Interested!
