Summary We are seeking a Field Service & Installation Engineer to add to our team! This position will be responsible for the hands-on installation, maintenance, and repair of the EggNest Radiation Protection System and other Egg Medical Products at hospitals and healthcare facilities across the country. This role ensures equipment operates safely, reliably, and in compliance with quality standards while delivering high-quality customer support to clinicians and biomedical teams. Key Responsibilities Install and configure EggNest at radiology suites, Cath labs, and imaging rooms. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues within radiation protection assemblies. Coordinate with Customer Excellence team on scheduled installations and repairs. Collaborate with radiology staff, physicists, and biomedical teams during installation and service activities. Document installation reports, service records, compliance checks, and system performance data. Collaborate with Research & Development team on system design, assembly, and installation. Provide stakeholder feedback to development team on product installation and usage. Ensure all installations meet regulatory and safety standards (FDA, NCRP, state radiation guidelines, hospital protocols). Support site planning activities, including layout review and coordination with construction or facility teams. Manage service tools, test equipment, and spare parts inventory. Provide emergency service support to minimize disruption to critical imaging operations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Ability to read and interpret:

Mechanical drawings and Room layouts with shielding plans Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication skills with clinical and technical stakeholders. Willingness to travel frequently (drive or fly) to hospital sites and stay overnight as needed (>75%) Lifting, equipment handling and working in confined or sterile areas required Preferred Qualifications Understanding of X-ray system operation and radiation safety principles Knowledge of applicable standards (FDA, OSHA, NRC/NCRP). Experience servicing specific equipment (e.g., imaging systems, patient monitoring, infusion pumps, diagnostic devices) Familiarity with interventional radiology, Cath lab, or hybrid OR environments Compensation & Benefits Full-time position with starting salary range of $70,000+, depending on experience. Additional bonus/incentive compensation available. Company laptop provided. Insurance available on the 1st of the month following date of hire, including: health, dental and vision insurance, plus pre-tax or Roth 401k available after 30 days. PTO accrues starting at 15 days, plus 12 company paid holidays.

Pay:

$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
