Job Description

FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER
- Northern, OHIO Our company is an International hardware maintenance provider in operation for over 30 years. Our services range from printer and server repair to managed print services. We currently have an immediate need for a full time Field Service Engineer in the Northern Ohio area. Areas of coverage would be Sandusky, Toledo, Lorain/Cleveland. We offer a very competitive hourly wage- commensurate with experience. Hours will vary based on company needs. We are looking for an individual with strong communication skills, both verbal and written. The ideal candidate must have advanced computer knowledge, be detailed, organized and able to prioritize and multi task. Typical Duties include but not limited to: Under minimal supervision, troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of equipment including, but not limited to: Point of Sale equipment, Laser Jet Printers, Impact and Line Printers, Servers and PC's (We may train the right candidate). Possess excellent customer service skills, and be able to firmly establish customer satisfaction that is recognizable and valuable to the customer. Update field service application with work performed, parts needed and call status information. Complete in house depot repairs as needed. Identify business opportunities for the company. See customer issues through from initial dispatch to resolution. Proactively engage with other engineers and the dispatch department as needed for call completion. Ability to follow processes, analyze and resolve problems using good judgment. Must work well in a fast pace environment and under pressure. Other duties as assigned by Manager. Requirements:
Flexible hours On-call rotation availability is a must, some weekend/holiday hours required Must be able to lift, pull, push or carry up to 40 pounds Local travel to multiple customer sites daily (mileage paid by company) Must have valid driver's license and insurance High School Diploma or Equivalent Prior experience in a like position is desired, but not a requirement.
