Install, commission, and optimize advanced DDC systems, ensuring controls, sensors, and networks meet performance standards.Proactive Problem Solving:
Use technical judgment to solve automation challenges and mitigate project risks before they impact timelines.Technical Leadership:
Train owners on system operation and partner with Project Managers to manage risks and improve execution.Travel & Growth:
Travel as needed and adapt to changing schedules while taking end-to-end ownership of complex projects.Project Integrity:
Maintain accurate documentation and participate in project reviews to drive continuous improvement. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 2+ Years of professional experience in HVAC, Building Automation, Information Technology, or Industrial Networking, including direct experience with IP networking, Modbus protocols, or PLC programming. Must possess a valid, current Driver's License and be insurable by the company's insurance carrier. Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as squatting and climbing for extended periods. Capable of working over 8 feet above grade and proficient in the use of ladders and motorized lift equipment.Preferred Qualifications Leadership & Mentorship:
Proven ability to act as a technical authority and mentor junior engineers in a collaborative field environment.Complex Project Delivery:
Executes turnkey building automation solutions with minimal oversight, focusing on high-quality field execution and resource management.Advanced Integration & Networking:
High skills-level proficiency in integrating diverse platforms and managing complex TCP/IP and wireless networking.System Troubleshooting:
Advanced diagnostic skills for resolving high-level technical challenges in controls, sensors, and software, at the equipment and system level.Training & Communication:
Dedicated to delivering site-specific technical training to building owners and operators while maintaining clear documentation. Pay Range The annual salary for this position is between $53,000.00 - $106,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. The pay range will not be below the minimum wage applicable to the jurisdiction in which the applicant is to be employed.
