Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Repair, install, maintain, and calibrate, various types of copiers or printers, medical printing equipment, and instrumentation at the customer location. 2. Perform preventive maintenance and electrical safety testing of equipment, devices, and systems. 3. Diagnoses and correct system and equipment malfunctions. 4. Provide technical assistance and instruction to personnel regarding equipment operation and maintenance. 5. Review outcome of preventive maintenance actions and make recommendations to department staff concerning improvements. 6. Maintains parts inventory to cover field service needs. 7. Must maintain accurate service and expense records routinely in ERP. 8. And any other duties assigned by management.Education and Experience:
- Associate's degree in electronics, or equivalent work experience. (Preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the copier or thermal printer field. (Preferred)
- Perform new hardware and software deployments (installation, configuration and administration) (Preferred)
- Thermal Printer Background (Preferred)
- Copier Service Background (Preferred)
Required Skills and Behaviors:
- Strong mechanical or service experience is a plus
- Strong judgment and critical thinking - identify and evaluates issues at hand
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Flexibility to adjust to daily needs
- Must be a team player, open to working closely with others
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and all levels of the organization
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office. (Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Strong decision making and analytical abilities.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Work Availability:
- Ability to travel overnight as needed / Up to 30% overnight travel outside of territory required.
- The territory covers Up to four hours from the Pittsburgh area for medical printers and greater Pittsburgh region for Thermal Printers and Office Printers.
- Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such a level as is determined by management.
- Must be available and willing to work such weekends and holidays as the employer determines are necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Typical hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week.Physical Demands:
