Insurance ( Health Medic We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join the Technical Services team and support the installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of Fuji Surface Mount Technology (SMT) automation equipment. This position will provide hands-on technical support to customers throughout North America while serving as a key liaison between customers and engineering teams. Job DutiesPerform on-site installation, configuration, commissioning, and startup of Fuji SMT automation equipment throughout North America.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, software, and process-related issues.
Perform equipment retrofits, upgrades, repairs, and custom modifications.
Provide advanced technical support both on-site and remotely to minimize customer downtime.
Collaborate with internal technical and engineering teams to resolve advanced equipment and engineering issues.
Train customer personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Advise customers on preventive maintenance, process optimization, and equipment efficiency.
Collect and analyze technical data to support troubleshooting, reliability, and process improvement initiatives.
Prepare detailed service reports, technical documentation, and customer feedback.
Serve as a technical liaison between customers and Fuji engineering departments.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical customer stakeholders.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
QualificationsBachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of technical education, military training, and relevant experience.
Experience with SMT equipment strongly preferred; experience with similar industrial automation or manufacturing machinery will also be considered.
Strong background in mechanical and electrical diagnostics, equipment repair, and preventive maintenance.
Experience with industrial automation and mechatronic systems.
Ability to interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and mechatronic system diagrams.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
