Responsible for independently judging and assessing conditions to supervise and support KCAs clients with pre-commissioning, commissioning, maintenance, overhauls, troubleshooting, advise KCA and client with recommendations to address issues and any other system activity performed at the clients job site, or other locations in North and South America, as well as International regional customers. This role includes field service involving the full range of company products (Mainly Plastic Processing Machinery, and also includes Compressors). This position has substantial discretion, autonomy and independence in the execution of his/her duties, decisions and/or responsibilities. Travel to the clients job site location and supervising the site works of product installation, starting up, commissioning of new equipment, and also maintenance and overhaul, trouble shooting for operation etc. Advise and make recommendations on mechanical equipment repair, maintenance and /or troubleshooting. Hands on related duties. Perform Shop service work at KCA HSS, as an involved shop worker for mainly compressor overhauling training, and also includes the overhauling / repairing job for Plastic Processing Machinery parts, overhauling, troubleshooting etc. Hands on related duties). During Turn Around Maintenance (TAM), which includes the Planning the TAM schedule and Process, coordinates the necessary manpower, supervising the KCA shop worker and millwrights, and coordinating the outside vendors. Provide technical support including the periodical site visiting, consulting preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, planning and proposing the routing repair and Turn Around Maintenance for clients. Provide training to customer as an instructor of operating, maintenance training for Plastic Machinery and Compressor systems. Complete daily reports, trip reports, and other documentation related to field service activities. Generate department standards, procedures, forms, and the Supervision and training to KCA personnel, cooperated with Plastic Machinery Houston Office Engineer and Sales Reps. Employee will not supervise any employees, only oversee assigned job site and ensuring work is complete according to project specifications. Travel requirement - Domestic, all 50 states, and international, All of North and South America (Colombia, Argentina, Canada, Mexico, travel required for field service support as needed. About 75% of work time will include travel.
