JEOL is adding to staff and looking to hire several field service engineers. Positions are currently available in
NJ, OH, MI, NM, CA

The primary business of
JEOL USA
is the sales of new instruments and peripherals and support of scientific instruments throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and South America. Field Service Engineer Field Service Technicians are responsible for routine service, installation, and maintenance of JEOL products such as Electron Microscopes, Scanning Probe Microscopes, Ion Beam Microscopes and Electron Beam lithography instrumentation. You will represent JEOL at customer locations and works primarily with scientists and related personnel to diagnose and repair products within the assigned service territory.
Essential Functions:
Independently diagnose and repair electron microscopes within the territory Systematically analyze the source of problems affecting customer's instrumentation Resolve problems with affected instrument, or prepare a report of findings and recommendations Communicate with clients, vendors, supervisors to ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications:

Salary Minimum:
$60,000 - Salary Maximum $65,000 The base range above represents the low and high end of the JEOL salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition, JEOL provides a variety of benefits to eligible employees including health and dental insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a 401K plan with company match and contribution, tuition reimbursement, paid holidays, paid sick time, and paid vacation.
