Job Description

The Field Service Technician will play a crucial role in providing on-site technical support to our clients. This junior, entry-level position requires a blend of technical skills and customer service abilities. The ideal candidate will have some experience or education in IT, such as an Associate degree or certifications like CompTIA A+ or Network+. The primary focus will be on troubleshooting and repairing technical issues while maintaining excellent customer service. The Field Service Technician will work closely with remote technical engineers to resolve client problems efficiently. Responsibilities and Duties Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during on-site visits. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction. Communicate client issues and needs to remote technical engineers. Visit client sites to diagnose and resolve technical issues. Perform basic to intermediate IT troubleshooting and repairs. Assist in setting up, configuring, and maintaining IT equipment and software. Maintain detailed records of client interactions and service activities. Conduct basic IT support tasks as needed, under the guidance of remote engineers. Ensure professional and timely follow-up on client inquiries and service requests. Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent 2-3 years of experience in a customer service or client-facing role (or substitute Associate degree in IT or similar field) CompTIA A+ certification Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
