Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for conducting basic lab tests, maintenance and installation of equipment, chemical transfers and process monitoring in chemical plants and other heavy industrial environments. They will be required to keep detailed records of inventory, report out results, and work safely. Responsibilities The primary resource who performs routine testing and monitoring at the customer site including data entry and contributes to service report preparation Interfaces with the customer to understand any issues with chemicals or equipment Manages product inventory at the customer including deliveries to process units and offloading to customer tanks Adjusts chemical feed levels to meet optimal chemical performance based on routine testing and monitoring. Alerts the site manager or support engineer of any problems or opportunities with the customer and begins to troubleshoot issues Conducts expanded testing of process variables to identify dosage improvements or mechanical impacts Specs out, sets up, maintains and troubleshoots monitoring and feed equipment Works with the site team and customers to ensure optimal program performance. Completes mechanical and electrical equipment repairs. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues. Perform routine maintenance on mechanical systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction during each visit. Document all service activities thoroughly in logs or digital systems for accurate recordkeeping and future reference. Skills Minimum 2 years experience working on mechanical and electrical systems in an industrial environment Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues effectively. Skilled in reading schematics, technical diagrams, and understanding HVAC & appliance technology. Experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices across various mechanical systems. Excellent customer service skills combined with clear communication abilities. Chemical handling experience desired but not required. Additional Details Contract
