In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing a variety of commercial door systems, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Your expertise will help maintain the functionality of automatic sliding doors, manual doors, and related hardware installations across various client sites. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong technical background in door systems and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Duties Service and repair commercial door systems, including automatic sliding doors and manual doors. Diagnose issues with door hardware and mechanical components to determine necessary repairs or replacements. Install, troubleshoot, and maintain automatic door operators, manual door hardware, and related safety devices. Conduct routine inspections to ensure all door systems meet safety standards and operational requirements. Provide on-site technical support, ensuring minimal downtime for clients' access points. Maintain accurate records of service activities, parts used, and repairs performed. Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations during all service operations. Communicate effectively with clients to explain repairs, maintenance procedures, and safety guidelines. Requirements Proven experience in servicing and repairing commercial door systems, including automatic sliding doors and manual hardware. Strong mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently. Knowledge of electrical components related to automatic door operators is preferred. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and installation instructions. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel locally for service calls. Good communication skills with a professional attitude towards customer service. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a field environment. This role is vital for maintaining the safety and functionality of commercial access points while providing valuable support to our clients through expert service and repair work.
Pay:
$26.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 per week
