Full Job Description About Us:
Packline Technologies, Inc. is an industry leader in specialized technology for the produce industry. We design, manufacture and maintain highly specialized production lines for the processing, sorting and packing of fresh fruit and vegetables for our customers throughout the United States. We specialize in highly automated solutions for our customers from custom engineered equipment to the handling of raw product from the field to the automated palletizing of packed product via machine or robot.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Experience and/or knowledge of packing house processing equipment Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company policies Familiarity with tools required for the job (I.E. power tools, hand tools, computers, basic electrical wiring, etc.) Ability to be to flexible and adaptable to situations while working under pressure Ability to interact with customers directly in a positive manner at all times Ability to travel within the U.S. with short notice, approximately 75% in state and 25% out of state Valid driver's license Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Ability to safely complete the physical tasks associated with the essential job functions. These tasks include extensive climbing, walking, lifting, bending, standing, carrying and squatting. Ability to utilize proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Maintain a positive and productive attitude Duties Responsible for the installation and maintenance of mechanical equipment at customer sites Operation of hand tools and power tools in a safe manner Basic mechanical understanding of industrial equipment Provide timely, detailed and accurate reports to main office Driving of company vehicles to customer sites, both local and remote Read provided layout drawings and confirm measurements at customer location
Preferred:
Ability to perform metal fabrication, including cutting, grinding and welding Two (2) years or more of experience and knowledge in the Mechanical Technician or related field
