Field Service Technician Nieko Technology Garden Grove, CA (Travel Throughout Southern California) Part-Time $21-$29 per hour (DOE) About Nieko Technology Nieko Technology specializes in the installation, maintenance, repair, and logistics of technology systems across Southern California. Our team supports kiosks, smart lockers, payment terminals, digital signage, and other low-voltage technology solutions for commercial clients. We pride ourselves on reliability, professionalism, and delivering exceptional service in the field. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Field Service Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and working independently at customer locations. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and decommissioning technology equipment at client sites throughout Southern California. Responsibilities Install, configure, and service kiosks, smart lockers, payment terminals, and related technology equipment Troubleshoot hardware, networking, and low-voltage system issues Perform preventive maintenance and repair work Run and organize low-voltage cabling as needed Document work performed with photos, reports, and service notes Communicate professionally with customers and project managers Transport equipment and tools to job sites Ensure all work is completed safely and according to company standards Assist with equipment staging, inventory management, and logistics when required QualificationsRequired Valid driver's license with clean driving record Reliable transportation Experience using hand and power tools Ability to lift and move equipment weighing 50+ lbs Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Professional appearance and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Preferred Experience with low-voltage systems Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, routers, switches) Experience with kiosk installations, digital signage, access control, or smart locker systems Electrical, telecommunications, or field service experience OSHA certifications or relevant technical training What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Paid training and opportunities for advancement Flexible scheduling opportunities Variety of projects and technologies Supportive team environment Mileage reimbursement (if applicable) Company tools and equipment provided Schedule Monday through Friday Occasional evening or weekend work based on project requirements Local travel throughout Southern California Why Join Nieko Technology?
