We're seeking an Entry-Level Carpet Cleaning & Restoration Technician to join our team and provide high-quality residential and commercial cleaning and restoration services. No experience is required, but previous carpet cleaning, restoration, construction, or related experience is preferred. We're willing to train the right person who is dependable, hardworking, professional, and eager to learn. This is a hands-on position with opportunities to develop valuable skills and grow within the company. Responsibilities Perform residential and commercial carpet, upholstery, tile, grout, and area rug cleaning. Learn to operate professional truck-mounted and portable cleaning equipment, including extractors, rotary machines, floor scrubbers, and other specialty equipment. Assist with stain removal, odor treatment, and other specialty cleaning services. Assist with water damage mitigation and emergency restoration services when needed. Inspect work areas and communicate professionally and respectfully with customers. Learn proper cleaning techniques, chemical applications, equipment operation, and industry best practices. Safely mix, handle, and apply cleaning products according to company procedures and manufacturer guidelines. Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools in a clean, organized, and professional condition. Complete digital work orders, customer notes, photos, and other job documentation using Housecall Pro. Load, unload, lift, and transport equipment and supplies safely. Maintain a clean and professional appearance and work environment. Follow company safety procedures and instructions from lead technicians and management. Qualifications No professional carpet cleaning or restoration experience is required; previous experience is preferred. Experience in carpet cleaning, restoration, construction, maintenance, floor care, or another hands-on trade is a plus. IICRC certifications are a plus but are not required . Willingness to learn professional cleaning and water restoration techniques. Mechanically inclined and comfortable learning to operate professional equipment. Strong work ethic with a dependable and positive attitude. Good communication and customer service skills. Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift and move equipment throughout the workday. Comfortable performing physical work, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and working on your feet. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Professional appearance and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
