Full Job Description Position Overview:
The Field Service Technician is responsible for performing all services in a safe and timely manner. We expect this candidate is responsible for the completion of all residential service and warranty related work with focus on safety, quality, and customer experience. Quality is what differentiates our company from our competitors. The successful candidate for this position must be a problem-solver at their core, have a strong quality & customer-focused mindset, and have the personal drive and stamina for relentless, continual improvement (personally and professionally).
Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsible for the completion of service and warranty related projects Responsible for successfully completing quality audits post installation Responsible for Troubleshooting and resolving residential solar warranty and service issues that are triggered from modules, monitoring and storage/ batteries Investigate, mitigate and repair reported roof leaks Responsible for troubleshooting AC/DC systems Participate in weekly safety meetings as well as department meetings Completes all documents for each project and successfully closes cases/ tickets in CRM Perform other tasks and duties as required
Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in the Solar industry Solar service experience is required Solar Battery installation experience is required Knowledge with Enphase, Tesla and Solaredge monitoring systems Ability to work in challenging environments (hot sun, cold, wind, tight spaces, etc.) Capable of standing for long stretches of time and working at heights (on rooftops, climb ladders and stairs) Must be willing to travel Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted during work, including but not limited to peers and customers Current Driver's license, and clean drivers abstract
Requirements:
Clean driving record Valid CA Driver's License The ability to travel within California on a Weekly basis based on project location. Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment screening requirements

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, climb, crawl, push, pull, reach, sit, stand, climb ladders, and work with various tools and equipment. Must be able to operate a pallet jack and forklift. Have to ability to listen, understand, and communicate in writing and verbally. The employee will frequently be required to lift objects up to 75 pounds.
