Job Description

Shift Schedule is Sunday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Job Summary This role is responsible for performing basic field services and providing excellent customer service to the company's clients. The Field Technician I supports the field operations by collecting, analyzing, and transporting samples, delivering supplies to clients, and maintaining the required support equipment and vehicles to perform their job. The Field Technician I is responsible for ensuring all policies and procedures are followed to ensure compliance is met. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Field Operations a. Drive to assigned customers to pick up samples and/or collect samples. b. Confirm all chain of custody are accurate and complete prior to leaving customer's site. c. Confirm all sample acceptability requirements prior to leaving job sites. d. Scan and email Chain of Custody to Sample Control from the field. e. Deliver supplies to customers. f. Perform basic sampling services (e.g basic composites and bacti). g. Perform basic field analysis (e.g. Cl and pH). h. Assist with creating bottle orders for customers. i. Develop good rapport and build relationships with customers. j. Complete field logs. k. Follow company policies, procedures, and their managers' instructions to perform tasks requested. 2. Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance a. Maintain and inspect vehicle for safe operation. b. Maintain and inspect field equipment daily. c. Complete maintenance and mileage logs. 3. Staff Development a. Adopt and communicate the company vision, mission, and values. b. Actively participate with manager for coaching and development. c. Track key performance indicators and employee scorecard metrics.   • High school diploma or degree equivalent.

Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a moderate noise level. Employees may also be exposed to unpleasant smells and hazards such as chemicals and fumes.
Pay:
$17.19 - $19.10 per hour
