Job Description

Expanding fitness equipment repair company is looking for a Fitness / Exercise Equipment Technician to join our team in the Sacramento area. We are open to experienced technicians as well as entry-level candidates who demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. Training will be provided for the right person. What You'll Be Doing Diagnosing and repairing commercial fitness equipment (cardio & strength) Performing preventative maintenance and basic electrical/mechanical troubleshooting Working on-site at gyms and fitness facilities Communicating professionally with clients and internal operations staff Managing assigned service tickets and documenting work performed Ideal Candidate Will Have Experience working with hand tools Experience using a multi-meter Clean driving record Comfortable driving daily (company vehicle provided) Required Personal Qualifications Honest, responsible, reliable, and hardworking Neat, professional appearance Strong customer service skills (in person and over the phone) Average computer skills (basic apps, email, job notes) Organized and clear communicator Logical, calm, and methodical approach to mechanical/electrical problems Physically capable — this is not constant heavy labor, but at times requires lifting, maneuvering, or positioning awkward/heavy equipment independently Teachable and quick learner — intelligence, organization, and adaptability are essential What We Offer Company vehicle provided Stable, consistent work Training and long-term growth opportunity Professional, no-drama work environment Opportunity to develop a specialized technical skill set If you have read this entire description and believe you meet the requirements, please submit your resume.
