Interact with our customers on a daily basis to resolve technical issues and provide customer support when needed. We will also provide necessary training! Essential Functions Provide on-site technical service including installation, maintenance, and repairs to equipment/accessories ensuring optimum operating condition based on manufacturer specifications Install equipment systems, accessories, software, and feature keys at the workplace and/or in the field Test equipment and ensure it is working to customer(s) satisfaction Communicate equipment problems and solutions with supervisors/managers Maintain quality records by properly documenting service calls, system repairs, and upgrades according to service agreements and requirements Complete required training and certifications; participate in educational opportunities Maintain proper and accurate inventory for the purpose of service and communicate with Inventory Department when required Ability to track orders throughout the ordering and delivery process and keep customers accurately informed Maintain company assets (i.e. car, tools, phone, and inventory) and comply with company policies Travel to customer locations on a regular basis Attend monthly/quarterly/yearly meetings Build and maintain good customer relationships Other duties assigned by management Qualifications High School Diploma / GED required. An Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school is a plus Technical understanding of operating systems, business applications, printing systems, and connectivity is desired Strong comprehension of small and large format and color production processes Assess and troubleshoot customer hardware production problems or issues Understand and accurately communicate cost estimate information to the customer Must have good record keeping and communication skills Valid driver's license with good driving record required Travel may be required for business and training purposes in/out of service area Perform work outside of normal work hours when necessary
