Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic Generator Field Service Technician to join our team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining power generation systems in the field. Your expertise will ensure our customers' generators operate at peak performance, providing dependable power when it's needed most. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced equipment, develop your technical skills, and deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot generator systems using schematics and electrical diagnostics tools Perform repairs on diesel engines, mechanical systems, and electrical components of power generation equipment Conduct routine maintenance on generators and related equipment to ensure optimal operation Utilize hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and mechanical knowledge to complete repairs efficiently Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks during installation or service procedures Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams to identify issues accurately Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction during service visits Qualifications Dealership experience or previous service technician experience preferred Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair or small engine maintenance Proficiency in electrical work, electrical diagnostics, and troubleshooting electrical systems Experience repairing diesel engines and power generation systems is highly desirable Familiarity with schematics, mechanical systems repair, and equipment troubleshooting techniques Ability to use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and perform heavy lifting safely Excellent customer service skills with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel frequently for field service calls Join us as a Generator Field Service Technician and become part of a team committed to powering a smarter world! Pay:
$35.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
