Job Description

Service Technician /
Engineer Responsibilities:
Dedicated support role with working on world-class CNC machines (milling technology) with one of the premier aerospace companies in the world. Customer that will be supporting in the aerospace industry makes large components such as fan cases for aircraft engines and gas turbines. 100% travel role focused in the Northeast.
Training:
each service technician/mechanic/engineer will undergo approximately 12 weeks of training. There will also be shadowing sessions with more senior technicians. Utilizing machine tool manuals, technical documents, internal and OEM resources to research machine issues
  • Ensuring proper documentation is completed and submitted to office and customer regarding status of machine issues, repairs, and installation
  • Promoting and performing preventative maintenance on customer machine tool equipment and conducting
  • Possessing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry
  • Able to climb ladders and to lift 50 lbs.

Job Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical / electrical repair or machining of CNC machine tools. Previous CNC technician on milling machines is required. Previous experience with Heidenhain or Siemens controls is preferred but not required. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics are preferred. Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills are a must. The technician must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job. Candidate must maintain an insurable clean driving record and a valid driver's license,
Compensation:
$40 to $55/HR depending on experience. Benefits Competitive salary based on knowledge and experience, PTO, 401K with Safe Harbor 3% contributed by employer, profit sharing, paid business expenses, company van, laptop, health and dental insurance.
