This role is essential in ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and longevity of our equipment and infrastructure. The Maintenance Technician will perform a wide range of repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance tasks across mechanical, electrical, and swimming pool systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership qualities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient environment. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to operational excellence through expert maintenance practices. Duties Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and building infrastructure to minimize downtime. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics and technical manuals; execute repairs efficiently. Perform appliance repair and troubleshoot service-related problems with precision. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and future reference. Lead small maintenance projects or team efforts, providing guidance and technical support as needed. Repair and service equipment to ensure optimal performance. Utilize schematics and technical diagrams to identify faults and implement corrective actions swiftly. Assist in construction or renovation projects by supporting installation tasks or system upgrades. Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations. Collaborate with vendors or service providers for specialized repairs or equipment procurement. Requirements Transportation (truck and/or trailer) Tools (use your own) Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical maintenance. Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools used in equipment repair. Hands-on experience with HVAC systems—including air conditioning—and refrigeration units. Mechanical knowledge encompassing construction principles and equipment repair techniques. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Leadership skills to guide team members or oversee small projects effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on safety and quality standards. Excellent organizational skills for maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities. Relevant certifications such as HVAC/R license or equivalent are preferred but not mandatory.
