Job Overview Captain's Complete Restoration is seeking an experienced Water Damage Restoration Technician to join our team in Cape Coral, FL. This position is intended for an experienced restoration professional who is already familiar with water mitigation procedures, drying equipment, moisture documentation, demolition, containment, and working in occupied residential and commercial properties. IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) certification is required. Previous hands-on water mitigation/restoration experience is also required. Candidates with additional IICRC certifications, particularly Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT), are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities include:

Respond to residential and commercial water damage losses Perform moisture inspections and document affected materials Set up, monitor, adjust, and remove drying equipment Perform water extraction and controlled demolition as needed Establish containment and follow proper remediation procedures Take moisture readings and maintain accurate job documentation Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, and other members of the restoration team Maintain clean and organized job sites, vehicles, and equipment Assist with emergency and after-hours water losses when required

Required Qualifications:

Current IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) certification Previous professional water damage/restoration experience Working knowledge of structural drying principles and moisture detection Experience using air movers, dehumidifiers, moisture meters, extraction equipment, and other restoration equipment Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to safely lift and carry restoration equipment and materials Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, containment areas, and other restoration environments Reliable and able to respond to emergency water losses as required

Preferred Qualifications:

IICRC Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT) certification Additional IICRC certifications such as ASD or other restoration-related credentials Experience with mold remediation and containment Experience documenting mitigation projects, including moisture readings, photographs, equipment logs, and job notes Experience working on insurance-related restoration projects We are looking for someone who can step into the position with an existing restoration background and become a productive member of our team quickly. This is not an entry-level water mitigation position.

Pay:

$22.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 65.0 per week
