We're seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Field Service Technician to join our team, specializing in lighting and electrical systems. This role involves on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and lighting systems across commercial properties. Primary Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including panels, outlets, conduit, and wiring
- Service a wide range of lighting systems (interior/exterior, LED retrofits, control systems, signage)
- Perform regular maintenance and inspection of building infrastructure and critical systems
- Troubleshoot low-voltage and line-voltage systems to restore functionality with minimal downtime
- Complete energy audits and assist in implementing energy-efficient lighting upgrades
- Document service activities, repair logs, and materials usage accurately via mobile platforms
- Ensure full compliance with NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards
- Provide excellent client interaction, with clear communication of work performed and recommendations.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of field experience in electrical or lighting maintenance preferred
- Working knowledge of facility systems (HVAC interfaces, emergency lighting, occupancy sensors)
- Strong understanding of commercial wiring methods, controls, and lighting diagnostics
- Valid driver's license and clean MVR required; ability to travel to client sites
- Ability to read electrical diagrams, blueprints, and service schematics
- Self-starter with strong troubleshooting ability and time management skills
