Position Overview:
As a Copier Technician, you will be an essential part of our team, ensuring that our customers' office equipment is operating at peak performance. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair multifunction printers, copiers, and scanners. Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair hardware, software, and firmware issues with office equipment, including copiers, printers, and scanners. Provide exceptional service and support to our existing and growing client base. Manage service requests remotely using a mobile device (cell phone, laptop, or tablet). Exceed customer expectations by delivering timely, accurate, and proactive service. Maintain an organized, strategic inventory of parts and supplies in your service vehicle. Assist in the setup, delivery, and installation of new office equipment. Demonstrate strong technical aptitude to troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform preventive maintenance on a variety of product lines. Effectively communicate with clients, service staff, administration, and manufacturers to resolve service-related issues. Collaborate with client IT administrators to ensure smooth integration of office equipment into their systems. Engage in ongoing training to stay up-to-date on the latest equipment, technology, and service offerings.
Qualifications:
Preferred:
Canon/ Konica Minolta OEM certifications or similar industry credentials. Previous experience as a field technician in the office equipment/copier industry is highly preferred. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain mobility (walking, standing, kneeling) for extended periods of time. Must be willing to travel within the local area (company vehicle provided for work-related travel). Security clearances may be required for certain client sites.
