We are currently accepting applications for a Low Voltage/ I.T. field service technician. Fire Brigade Alarm Systems is family owned and operated since 1973. We are looking for a tech-savvy, ambitious, hard-working individual with a hunger to learn and a desire to be a long-term member of our team. We will train you in all facets of servicing fire alarm and all other low voltage systems. Applicants must have excellent problem solving skills and an interest in learning to repair fire alarm and low voltage systems. Pay starting at $16-22 per hour and potentially higher for applicants with electronics, electrical, low voltage, fire alarm, and/or I.T. Experience. In this position, you will work one-on-one with an experienced service technician and assist in troubleshooting, repairing, programming, and servicing commercial fire alarm and security systems. Your shift will consist of running multiple service calls (in company vehicle) with the experienced technician and repairing fire alarm systems that are in trouble. You will be taught all facets of the industry. The goal is for you to learn through on the job training to eventually become a service technician and long term member of our team.

Requirements:

Must have a valid Florida Driver's License. Ability to handle various assigned tasks. Ability to use a ladder. Ability to lift objects over 50 pounds. Must have Monday-Friday Availability. Must have excellent problem solving skills. Must be tech-savvy and computer literate. Must be high motivated. Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
