Field Service Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional on-site technical support across manufacturing facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and systems. Duties Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Troubleshoot complex issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify root causes quickly. Support technical sales efforts by providing expert advice on equipment upgrades or replacements when necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service calls while maintaining high safety standards. Requirements Proven experience working in Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in hydraulics, welding (including <

> welding), HVAC/R systems, and industrial electrician experience. Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), schematics, CMMS software, and analysis skills for troubleshooting complex systems. Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools effectively. Experience with electrical systems including low voltage (<50V) and high voltage (>600V), with a focus on safety procedures. Valid driver's license with the ability to operate scissor lifts or similar equipment safely. Excellent customer service skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving in field service scenarios. Knowledge of industrial maintenance practices within manufacturing settings; military experience is a plus. Fluency in English; strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with team members and clients. Ability to analyze technical issues quickly and develop effective solutions under pressure.
