Contents Technician About Serclean At Serclean, we specialize in water mitigation and restoration services, providing expert solutions to help our clients recover quickly from unexpected property damage. We pride ourselves on fast response, organized processes, and dependable service. We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join our Contents team and help keep our projects organized and moving efficiently. Position Summary As a Contents / Restoration Technician, you will support restoration projects through contents handling, packing, inventory, moving, customer property protection, and job documentation. This role combines physical field work with technology-based documentation and coordination duties. You will work closely with field and office teams to keep projects organized, compliant, and on schedule. This position is primarily assigned to the Contents Department. Due to the dynamic nature of restoration operations, team members may be cross-trained and may assist other departments, including Water Mitigation, based on workload, staffing needs, training, and business demands, as determined by the company. Key Responsibilities Maintain up-to-date and accurate job information within the company CRM Monitor active jobs and ensure documentation, notes, and photos are current Upload and organize job details, photos, and reports using CRM and Google Sheets Assist with on-site job tasks and support lead technicians as needed Document job progress using a phone or tablet Follow established workflows and company procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy Collaborate with field and office teams to support efficient project completion Pack, wrap, inventory, and label customer contents for transport and storage Move furniture, boxes, and household items safely and efficiently Assist with load-out and pack-back of contents at job sites Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and contents warehouse Follow proper handling procedures to protect customer property Communicate professionally with teammates and customers Perform other duties as assigned to support restoration and contents operations
Cross Department Support Duties:
Follow company policies to maintain safety, quality, and a professional image Drive a company vehicle to and from job sites while following all state traffic laws and company policies Assist with water mitigation activities, including removal of damaged materials and site drying procedures. Handle air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA air scrubbers to restore damaged property Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience working in a CRM or job tracking system preferred Basic proficiency with Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Trello or similar tools Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Teachable and open to learning new processes Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working under direction Customer service or restoration industry experience preferred Valid driver's license preferred Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly Frequent bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, and moving furniture or boxes Work in residential and commercial job sites, warehouses, and storage environments Use of PPE and exposure to water-damaged or restoration environments Benefits Weekly compensation Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance 401(k) with company match Commission opportunities Company vehicle when applicable Company cell phone Paid time off and holidays Life insurance Certification and training support Employment Disclaimer Employment with Serclean is at-will and may be ended at any time by either the employee or employer, with or without cause or notice.
