Job Description

American Water Specialties is a provider of high-quality water filtration systems. We are committed to ensuring our customers enjoy the cleanest, safest water possible. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Water Filter Installer/Technician to join our team. As a Water Filter Installer / Filter Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing water filtration systems. The ideal candidate will possess a plumbing license (preferred but not mandatory) and be able to follow verbal and written instructions, complete work orders and other paperwork, maintain inventory on the truck, and interact professionally with customers on job sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install water filtration systems in residential and commercial settings.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with water filtration systems.
  • Collect samples for water analysis.
  • Follow verbal and written instructions accurately
  • Complete work orders and other necessary paperwork
  • Maintain inventory on the truck
  • Provide professional interaction with customers on job sites
  • Additional duties include well pump installation, repair, and service
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred. Plumbing license (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Proven experience as a water filter installer or similar role (required).
  • Strong knowledge of water filtration systems and their components.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
What We Offer:
  • Pay will vary based on the level of experience and knowledge
  • Comprehensive training and ongoing support.

Pay rate will be based on experience. A passing drug test and clean background and driving history will be required before employment.
