Position Overview:
MedLink is seeking a reliable and customer-service-oriented Front Office Assistant to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for patients and plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, efficient, and organized front desk experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival Manage check-in and check-out processes Schedule and confirm patient appointments Verify insurance coverage and update patient records Collect co-pays and outstanding balances Answer multi-line phone system and route calls appropriately Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations Support clinic operations by collaborating with providers and clinical staff
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in a medical front office or customer service role preferred Familiarity with electronic medical records (eClinicalWorks experience is a plus) Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required Why Join MedLink GA?
