Role Description The Road Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Columbus, GA, responsible for traveling to customer locations to install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair Dyna-Lift machinery and related equipment. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing mechanical and hydraulic issues, performing preventative maintenance, replacing parts, and conducting safety checks to ensure equipment operates within specifications. The role involves documenting work performed, communicating clearly with customers about findings and recommended actions, and coordinating with the office and parts departments for scheduling and materials. The Road Technician is expected to maintain service vehicles and tools in good working order, follow all safety procedures and company policies, and provide courteous, professional service at every job site. Qualifications Mechanical aptitude with experience working on industrial, lifting, or material-handling equipment; ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems in field environments. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and willingness to travel locally and regionally as required.
