You could be an automotive mechanic, diesel technician, heavy equipment technician, industrial maintenance technician, machinery mechanic, millwright, marine technician, or field service technician. About the Role As a Service Technician, you will travel to customer locations to install, commission, troubleshoot, and service specialized filtration systems. Approximately 60% travel is expected, primarily throughout the U.S., with occasional international travel. When you are not traveling, you will work from the company's Newnan, GA facility, where you will work hands-on with equipment, configure and modify systems, provide technical support, and assist with other company needs. What You'll Do Travel to customer sites throughout the U.S. and occasionally internationally to service and commission systems. Install, inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine the best way to resolve them. Work with components such as motors, gearboxes, pumps, hydraulic systems, turbines, and other mechanical equipment. Develop your knowledge of electrical systems and controls and learn to troubleshoot electrical issues. Work with the company's technical team in Europe when additional technical support is needed. Provide hands-on technical support to customers. Participate in customer training and help customers understand the proper operation and maintenance of their equipment. Document service work, findings, and recommendations. During customer visits, observe their equipment and facilities and identify potential opportunities where the company's products could add value. When not traveling, work at the Newnan facility to configure, assemble, modify, and test filtration units. Assist with technical projects and other company needs. Work closely with customers, the sales team, sales support, and international technical teams. Maintain a high standard of safety and professionalism. You should have:

Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills. Experience working with machinery, vehicles, engines, pumps, hydraulics, gearboxes, or similar equipment. A genuine interest in learning new technology and equipment. A strong work ethic and pride in the quality of your work. The ability to work independently while also being part of a collaborative team. Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers. A willingness to learn and take advantage of training and development opportunities. A valid driver's license and good driving record. Willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time, including occasional international travel. Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or after-hours when required for customer service or projects. Electrical Experience Is a Plus — Not a Must Experience with electrical systems and controls is beneficial, but our client is willing to train the right mechanically strong candidate. Experience with any of the following is a plus: Electrical troubleshooting PLCs and controls Reading electrical schematics Digital multimeters Tachometers Oscilloscopes Industrial automation Electrical or electronic systems A technical degree, vocational training, apprenticeship, or electrician background is also a plus.
