Job Description
Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour Job description: The Mitigation Technician supports the Crew Chief in performing emergency mitigation and restoration services for residential and commercial properties affected by water, fire, mold, storm, and other property damage events. This role is critical in helping ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company standards and industry best practices. Mitigation Technicians are expected to operate with urgency, maintain a strong work ethic, communicate professionally, and assist in delivering an exceptional customer experience during difficult situations. Mitigation & Restoration Support- Assist Crew Chiefs with emergency mitigation services including: o Water extraction o Demolition o Drying and dehumidification o Mold remediation preparation o Fire and smoke cleaning o Contents manipulation and protection Expectations
- Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled shifts and emergency response calls.
- Participate in after-hours and on-call rotations as required.
- Maintain a strong sense of urgency while delivering quality work.
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements. Qualifications
- Previous construction, mitigation, restoration, or labor experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including lifting equipment and working in confined spaces or varying temperatures.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team environment.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- IICRC certifications are a plus but not required. Desired Strengths
